Small Business Day for Small Business Owners and Aspiring Entrepreneurs

SPARK Holyoke, a program of the Greater Holyoke Chamber Centennial Foundation, in collaboration with the Western Mass. Regional SCORE chapter invites business owners, start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs to attend Holyoke Small Business Day on Saturday June 24 from 10AM to 2PM at the Holyoke Public Library, 250 Chestnut Street. The event is free, open to the public and will be held rain or shine.

Registration is required in order to reserve a seat for workshops: click here to register. Those who register in advance will receive a $5 food ticket to be used that day, as well as be entered in a drawing for giveaways during the event.

Through a grant provided by the national SCORE Chapter and District Grant Program, the SPARK entrepreneurship program is teaming up with the Western Massachusetts Regional SCORE chapter to host Holyoke Small Business Day, designed to support entrepreneurs in the Pioneer Valley with workshops, classes and mentoring opportunities throughout the event.

Registration will open at 9:30 that morning, and the event kicks off inside the Library Community Room promptly at 10AM with guest speakers and an overview of the day. Those who attend will enjoy an outdoor pop-up shop and family-friendly activities offered by SPARK graduates, as well as information from other business resource providers. Guests can register for mini-workshops and mentor counseling sessions with SCORE volunteers, held inside the Library. Enjoy food from the Holyoke Hummus food truck and Hot Oven Cookies, both graduates of the SPARK program. Donated gift cards and prizes will be raffled off to those in attendance.

Holyoke Small Business day is ideal for individuals that have ambitions to become business owners, as well as experienced entrepreneurs that are seeking new opportunities to learn and meet new people. Guests will be able to learn more about the upcoming SPARK Launch class and how to participate as a mentor with SCORE.
