PMSN needs Food, Clothing and Volunteers

Providence Ministries Service Network (PMSN) is in desperate need of both volunteers, food, and clothing items.  PMSN oversees Kate’s Kitchen, which serves a hot noon-time meal 365 days/year to anyone in need no questions asked; Margaret’s Pantry provides three balanced meals plus three snacks (per person) for a four day-period monthly to individuals referred to the program; and St. Jude’s Clothing Center offers clothing and additional small household items at minimal cost to its visitors. Kate’s Kitchen is located at 51 Hamilton Street and Margaret’s Pantry and St. Jude’s Clothing Center at 56 Cabot Street, Holyoke.

Please consider volunteering with PMSN from 9:00-2:00 p.m., or anytime between those hours, Monday through Friday at Kate’s Kitchen, Margaret’s Pantry and St. Jude’s Clothing Center, and additional hours Saturday and Sunday 9:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Kate’s Kitchen.  To volunteer please contact Brenda Lamagdeleine at 413-538-8026 or by email:  We need your help now!

Food items are at a critical low point at Margaret’s Pantry. Shelves need to be replenished with staples like peanut butter/jelly, tuna, hamburger helper, pasta/sauces, soups, stews, canned vegetables, baked beans, cake and cookie mixes and snack items. Please deliver to Margaret’s Pantry location.

For more details on our needs, call PMSN’s main office at 413-536-9109.
