Registration Open for Celebrate Holyoke Arts Bazaar

The Celebrate Holyoke planning committee invites artists and makers to participate in this year’s Holyoke Arts Bazaar featured at Celebrate Holyoke a marketplace for local creatives to sell their works and wares, in collaboration with The ARTery. Last year’s three day festival drew an estimated 15,000 people into the heart of downtown Holyoke, and planning has been well underway to make this year’s celebration even bigger.

Registration is open until Friday, August 5 by visiting http://www.holyokeartsbazaar.com/ for more information. Similar to last year, vendors will be located along the Canal Walk and areas surrounding Heritage State Park. Registration will remain open until Friday, August 5 and the vendor fee is as follows:

Friday, August 26th (5pm-11pm) - $50 per space
Saturday, August 27th (12:30pm-11pm) - $100 per space
Sunday, August 28th (12:30pm-7:30pm) - $50 per space
OR $150 for all three days per space.

In addition to artists and makers, non-profit organizations and community groups are also invited to participate. Vendors who are solely distributing information as opposed to selling merchandise are subject to a fee of $75 for all three days. If your party is planning on hosting a free, public activity, fees are negotiable. Please email holyokeartsbazaar@gmail.com to state your proposal.
All fees and contracts are due by August 10th. Payment reserves a 10x10ft space in the festival area. All vendors are required to have a tent/canopy. The ARTery has a limited number of 10x10 EZ UP tents available for rent, $20 for the weekend. Please note, the ARTery does not provide tables or chairs and registration does not guarantee a space in the festival.

Celebrate Holyoke is a three-day festival that made its return last August after a 10 year hiatus, drawing an estimated 12,000 to 15,000 people downtown over the course of the weekend. This year’s festival is scheduled for August 26, 27, 28 and will include live musical performances, foods and beverages from local restaurants, and goods from local artists and makers. Back by popular demand is also Slide the City, which will take place on Saturday, August 27. Volunteers and sponsors are always needed and are a critical component to the success of this beloved community event.
