WSKB 89.5 to Debut Holyoke Happens with Mayor Morse



As part of its Wednesday and Friday Morning Roll Call series WSKB, Westfield State University’s community radio station, will debut Holyoke Happens with Alex Morse from 9am to 10 am. The programs will be broadcast on the fourth Friday of every month and will feature interviews focusing on issues, events and personalities, relating to each of the respective towns.

Lori Divine Hudson and Vitek Kruta from Gateway City Arts will be Mayor Morse’s first guests who will discuss their work, projects, and future plans.

Mayor Morse joins the roster of area civic leaders, who are or will be hosting monthly programs on WSKB. These include Westfield Mayor Brian Sullivan, Mayor Richard Cohen of Agawam, Mayor Will Reichelt of West Springfield, Selectman Joe Deedy of Southwick and Westfield State Representative John Velis.

WSKB is a joint project of the Westfield State Foundation and Westfield State University, working in collaboration with The Westfield State Student Radio Club. It is broadcast at 89.5 FM, streamed at wskb.org and video-simulcast on Channel 15, Westfield’s community access television station. It also can be viewed on the worldwide web at atomicradio.us and is archived at vimeo.com/channels/wskb.
