foodWorks at Kate’s Kitchen Ribbon Cutting

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 to commemorate the official opening of the new foodWorks kitchen which is located at Kate’s Kitchen, 51 Hamilton Street in Holyoke.

The kitchen was built with the help of grant monies from the Holyoke Office for Community Development, and other local funding sources. The new kitchen allows students with barriers to employment an opportunity to learn basic cooking skills, along with basic life skills and resume writing. After graduation students are given a one week internship at the Delaney House, and are helped with securing full-time employment.

The event will take place at 11:00 am at 51 Hamilton Street in Holyoke. Bishop Rosanski will be in attendance to perform a blessing.

For more details or to RSVP, contact PMN’s main office at 413-536-9109. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

  1. I prefer to work with chicken tenderloins. If you do end up using whole chicken breasts, you might find that the "nuggets" are thicker and need a couple extra minutes in the oven. best sewing machine for quilting
