Discovering the Magic of Our Own Stories

Getting to the Story: Discovering the Magic of Our Own Stories

Monday, April 25, 6 p.m.

Workshop is $7 or $5 for Museum members. Space is limited. Reserve your ticket by clicking here.

At this workshop you’ll hear what famous writers tell us about the process of memoir writing. You’ll learn a few tricks to kick-start your own exercise, have quiet time to write and an option to share your writing with other attendees in a non-judgmental and confidential environment.  You’ll take away several techniques you can use in your home practice.  Best of all, you’ll develop an enhanced appreciation for your own uniqueness and confidence in your ability to create a document meaningful to your friends and loved ones.  No writing experience is necessary to enjoy a fun and enriching experience.
Renee Denenfeld has been writing and leading writing workshops for decades in Hawaii, California and Western Mass.  She creates a confidential, supportive and inspiring environment to learn, explore and be heard.  Renee nurtures the growth and transformation that writing can bring and believes that everyone’s story is unique, precious, and deserves to be told.
