Fast Friends, Slow Food With Love

Featuring an eclectic menu, “Fast Friends, Slow Food With Love” is now a weekly pop-up restaurant open for lunch and dinner every Tuesday, 11:00am to 7:00pm at Gateway City Arts, 92 Race Street, Holyoke, MA.

Diners can fill their bellies with classic favorites such as beef stew or spark their taste buds with innovative selections like a chermoula roasted yam & honey goat cheese sandwich. Other highlights from the menu include beet and cabbage borscht, bean and cheese empanadas, lamb meatball with tzatziki sauce and pickled carrot slaw, mixed greens with choice of chicken or salmon salad, roasted butternut, lentil, and feta salad with toasted pepitas, gluten free parsnip coconut muffin, apple cheddar hand pie, house-made beverages and more.

This new dining experience is brought to you by seasoned chefs John Peter Wentworth and Tara Tulley. John Peter's professional experience includes many years as front of the house caterer locally and throughout the Boston area, Green Street Café, chef at The Dirty Truth and most recently Northampton's King Street Eats. After culinary school, Tara got her start as pastry chef at Green Street Café and has since worked with award winning chef’s on the west coast at Portland’s Park Kitchen, and even spent a season slinging salmon at a fly fishing lodge in Alaska. Most recently, she has collaborated with Kitchen Garden Farm, creating prepared foods for sale at local markets, farm dinners, and catered events. Together the duo has brought several dining experiences to Holyoke already, including the sold out three course Pop-Up Dinner Party at Gateway City Arts this past March.
