Mayor Morse to Participate in "Mayoral Roundtable" for Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council

Tomorrow, at the Boston Federal Reserve, Mayor Morse will participate in a "Mayoral Roundtable" hosted by the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council. In addition to Mayor Morse, the panel will include Mayor Joe Petty, of Worcester, Mayor Joseph Curtatone, of Somerville, and Mayor Marty Walsh, of Boston.

The roundtable is part of the annual meeting of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC). From MassTLC's website: "MassTLC is the region's leading technology assocation and the premier network for tech executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and policy leaders. MassTLC's purpose is to accelerate innovation by connecting people from across the technology landscape, providing access to industry-leading content and ideas and offering a platform for visibility for member companies and their interests."

Popular Mechanics recently ranked Holyoke as one the top ten "Startup Cities" in the United States, applauding the city's efforts to turn innovators into entrepreneurs. Mayor Morse will be discussing Holyoke's success in developing an innovation economy, and the ways that government can create the right conditions for economic growth.
