PassportHolyoke Launches “I Love Holyoke” Photo Campaign on Social Media

PassportHolyoke, a network of organizations that promotes the diverse cultural, educational, and recreational assets of Holyoke, invites the public to show their Holyoke pride by sharing original photos of the city on Facebook and Twitter. In the week leading up to Valentine’s Day, PassportHolyoke asks residents and visitors alike to demonstrate why they love Holyoke with photos highlighting their favorite places, faces, and spaces in the Paper City. Photo ideas include buildings and businesses, landscapes, local celebrities, restaurant offerings, and friends and family at events and activities. “I Love Holyoke” encourages people to share what makes Holyoke meaningful to them while connecting with their community and exploring the city.

All photos must be original and should be tagged with the following: #ILoveHolyoke or #AmoHolyoke (Spanish) as well as #PassportHolyoke. Facebook posts should be made public so that they are viewable in their respective hashtag feeds. PassportHolyoke will share many of the community-sourced photos on their Facebook page and plans to exhibit some of the photos at the Heritage State Park Visitor’s Center following the campaign, which runs from Saturday, February 7 through Saturday, February 14.
