Thomas E. Griffin Meritorious Service Award

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Holyoke, Inc. is pleased to announce Brian G. Stebbins as the 2014 recipient of the Thomas E. Griffin Meritorious Service Award. The award will be presented on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the 123rd Annual Dinner and Meeting of the Boys & Girls Club at The Delaney House in Holyoke at 6p.m.

The Thomas E. Griffin Meritorious Service Award was created to recognize unusually outstanding and consistent contributions to the welfare of the organization. It was created to honor exemplary board members and volunteers for their many years of dedicated service to the organization.

Stebbins, who is employed at Colonial Life Insurance, has served on the Board of Directors for over 7 years and served on several standing committees including co-chair of the Golf Committee responsible to plan the annual golf tournament that raises over $50,000 yearly for the organization. Mr. Stebbins has proven over and over again that he is personally invested in the community and committed to helping youth in our community achieve academic success, live healthy lives and develop into future leaders. “The success of our organization depends heavily upon the hard work that our board members, staff and volunteers put in each day. We are extremely grateful for all that Brian has done, and, are thrilled to honor him. I know Brian will continue to work with us as we strive to improve the lives of Holyoke’s youth.”
