Holyoke Police Officers Support "Manuary" Fundraiser

The Holyoke Police Department is once again sponsoring “Manuary”. Holyoke Police personnel are participating in growing mustaches for the month of January to raise funds for “Service Dogs for Veterans”. It has been reported that approximately 22 Veterans a day are committing suicide. The Holyoke Police are hoping to make a difference by raising funds for service Veterans. Service Dogs help to provide improved quality of life and restore independence to those who are functionally limited.

Participating Officers donate $20.00 and grow a mustache for a month. On Saturday, January 31, 2015, awards will be handed out to the “Best” and “Worst” mustaches. Our hope is to draw financial support and attention to this worthy cause.

Citizens are welcome to participate also and encouraged to offer donations. Checks may be made out to the “Holyoke Police Officers Ball Committee” (H.P.O.B.C.), placed in an envelope addressed to Lieutenant Matthew Moriarty, and either drop it at the Police Station or mail it to:
