Nappy's Puppets Coming to Holyoke Public Library

Jim Napolitano, master puppeteer, will provide an extra reason to celebrate Halloween this year. On Thursday, October 30 at 6:00 PM, Jim will bring his popular collection of puppets to Holyoke Public Library’s Community Room for a special pre-Halloween celebration.

“Nappy’s” Puppets are dedicated to presenting quality puppet theatre to audiences of all ages. Mr. Napolitano’s goal for each performance is to entertain, inspire, amuse and educate the audience on the range and scope of puppetry as an unique art form. Performances by Nappy’s Puppets have attracted an enthusiastic following throughout the region through their frequent appearances at workshops, school assemblies fund raisers, professional development days and private parties.

The October 30 performance at Holyoke Public Library is expected to provide special Halloween highlights through songs and stories, including shadow puppets, and a silly, spooky sing-a-long. The performance is open to the public without charge, however advance reservations are encouraged. Reservations can be made by visiting the library and registering at the Circulation Desk, or by calling the Library Children’s Department at 413-420-8105.
