With interest increasing each week, the free Computer Workshops programs at Holyoke Public Library continue to attract a wide range of patrons interested in becoming familiar with the use of computers or expanding their current knowledge and capabilities.
During the month of October Computer Coordinator, Jose Cartagena, will be conducting Workshops and one-on-one tech tutoring in English and Spanish. All programs are open and free to the public with the only requirement being that the individual be a registered patron with a Holyoke Public Library member card.

Among the subjects on this month’s schedule are: Principals of Computers, Principals of the Web, Microsoft and Email Principals. Also available are programs for those who wish to learn Spanish, English as a Second Language, ABE for Spanish speakers, Word or Powerpoint Basics, and e-Reader setups. Patrons can also obtain information on the wide range of materials the library offers through Library Online Resources.

Programs and courses are offered at various times Monday through Saturday each week. For additional information regarding subjects and times please contact Jose Cartagena at 413-420-8101, or by email at
